01 What is the difference between your Fortuny clinic and the one in Carabanchel?
Both are complete clinics offering the same treatments. The difference is location and how the diary runs: Fortuny is in Chamberí, with a lighter diary and longer appointments; Carabanchel is a district practice, geared to the everyday needs of the neighbourhood. The surgical team and the clinical record are the same, so you can start at one and continue at the other without repeating any imaging.
02 Where can I park if I drive to the Fortuny clinic?
Almost all of the Fortuny area is metered. If you come by car, count on a short-stay car park nearby. By public transport the clinic is a few minutes’ walk from Rubén Darío and Alonso Martínez.
03 I am very afraid of the dentist. What are my options?
It is one of the commonest reasons treatment gets put off. The first visit is assessment only: examination, imaging and explanation, with nothing touched. From there, depending on the case, we have several levels of conscious sedation. Say so when you book and we will arrange the appointment accordingly.
04 Do you give second opinions on another clinic’s quote?
Yes. Bring the quote, the report and the X-rays if you have them. We will tell you what we think of the proposed plan and what the alternatives are, including not treating you at all if we think it is unnecessary.
